Wepaaa! Caribbean Summer Festival & Homebrew Competition 2019

Soak up the suds and enjoy some family fun in the sun at the Wepaaa! Caribbean Summer Festival.
This kid friendly event is guaranteed to have something for everyone. Join in judging the homebrew competition with unlimited beer samples or shop for local art and merch from some of the best vendors the city has to offer.
Custom Cars and antique car displays from Dirty South Dubs and Sudden Impact.
Domino Tournament, food, live dj, Kids Zone with free activities for the kids and so much more! This event with the Opa Locka Community Development Center is the best way to kick-off the Summer!
Event will take place across from the Opa Locka Tri Rail Station, You may use Tri Rail to attend event and avoid traffic.

Wepaaa Caribbean Summer Festival 2019
Homebrew Competition
Saturday June 8th, 2019
1:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Compete against other home brewers and showcase your talent in two categories ’Judges pick’ and ‘Crowds favorite’.
Both categories will receive 1st and 2nd place awards.
Competition will take place along side the Wepaaa Caribbean Summer Festival.
All attendees to the Wepaaa Caribbean Summer Festival will judge the “Crowds Favorite”
Special guest, brewers and Legacy Caribbean Craft representatives will judge the “Judges Pick”. The “Judges Pick” Grand prize will be brewed in house at Legacy Caribbean Craft Brewery and the winning beer will be placed on tap for sale with some of the proceeds going towards the winning home brewer to upgrade equipment or make more beers
Cost of entry is $25 per judged beer and this includes a wristband per registered beer to attend the entire event.
ALL STYLES ARE PERMITTED as this is an open category event
Guests who are sampling beer, please bring a designated driver.
* Space is extremely limited only 4-8 home-brewers will compete.
* Registration must be made in person at Legacy Caribbean Craft Brewery before Sunday May 19th.
